For a mermaid that hadn’t stepped foot into the ocean for three years, Luna spent more time with fins than feet than one would think. Despite that, she had grown at least somewhat accustomed to walking during the rare instances she was allowed out of her tank. When one of her father’s close aides came to her and opened the hatch for the large water tank she swam around in all day as humans stared at her, Luna wasn’t sure what to think. The only time she was ever allowed out was when her father wanted to speak with her. Early on in her time being forced to perform, Luna couldn’t bring herself to smile at all, which people took notice of. Her father had called her to meet with him during that time. When Luna said she didn’t like it in her tank, her father was… displeased. Two days later, Luna managed to finally teach herself how to fake a convincing smile and never again frowned in front of the humans that came to watch her.
